Volvo XC60 Exterior Paint Color Options for 2026
The XC60 is Volvo’s most popular model, and it’s easy to see why. The XC60 blends together all of the qualities that have made Volvo an enduring brand through its century of operation. It’s one of only two Volvo models offered with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain, and the only model offered with a performance-oriented Polestar Engineered variant. It also offers a selection of truly excellent colors that highlight the best parts of the XC60’s sophisticated Scandinavian bodywork. And to give you an idea of just how great these colors are, we’ve put together a guide.
Volvo XC60 Paint Colors
For a lot of manufacturers, paint colors can be a complicated thing. Certain colors are only available on certain trims, or they add hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars to the price of your vehicle. With Volvo, there are no colors locked behind special trims, nor do any of the colors offered cost extra. The one trim where there is an exception is the Polestar Engineered trim of the XC60 Plug-In Hybrid, which doesn’t have any special colors, but does have a limited selection of Onyx Black, Crystal White, and Vapour Grey. Every other trim is available in every color. Here they are:

Volvo XC60 Black Edition
While the Onyx Black paint it wears isn’t unique to the XC60 Black Edition, it’s still worth mentioning here. That’s because the black exterior detailing and black wheels that go with the paint are indeed unique to the Black Edition. Otherwise, the Black Edition is based on the Ultra trim, and it comes with the Charcoal nappa leather interior that is available for the Ultra.
Volvo XC60 Wheel Options
Unlike paint colors, the wheels selection for the XC60 varies by trim level. But it’s not nearly as complicated as it is often is with competing brands. The wheels that come standard on the Plus are optional on the Core, and the wheels that are standard on the Ultra are optional on the Plus. So there are trim-specific wheels, but there is also quite a bit of overlap in the choices. Here’s the full list, including the unique set that comes with the Black Edition:
